Gah. Here it is. <3|
"Stop showing off, Sioul! You can be such a---" Kazuki began whining, teeth gritted together as if he was afraid he would bite the navy-haired captain of the Black Rage. Hands crossed in front of his chest, he was the ideal picture of both jealously and annoyance.
Sioul stopped in mid-swing, breaking into a peal of laughter that made a flush crawl up Kazuki's neck. He loved the way Sioul laughed, regardless of who it was directed at. It was like a glance into his soul; including the love for killing. "You - know - I - was - kidding, Kazuki!" Sioul's energetic tone was dulcet to Kazuki's ears, but he stuck out his tongue, now jutting out the top-half of his frame, hands on his waist.
Suddenly, the space between them was crossed. Locks of hair brushed his face, staring at that familiar face from such a distance had been an untangible reverie - until now. Sioul's eyes were closed, as if he was enjoying the moment, partaking for once in something they had both wanted for a time. "Kazuki!" Kell's tone was happy; cheerful, but it lowered to a growl as she also muttered, "Sioul!"
Sioul pulled away and turned on his heel, leaving Kazuki behind as he disappeared through a mat of bushes. Kell, now close enough to touch his cheek, poked Kazuki in the arm. "Are you coming down with a fever, Kazuki-kun? Your face is all red!" Kazuki nodded a yes, and pulled away.
When she looked away, Kazuki pressed his fingers against his lips. He was savouring it, every last bit.
